 John M. Smith, LMFT
Men's Counselor
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist

Hello, I'm John.

Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected—from yourself, your goals, or your relationships? Whether it’s anxiety, stress, addiction, or relationship conflict, I help clients find clarity, direction, and emotional strength.

About Me

I specialize in working with men and teen males navigating life’s challenges—from burnout and performance pressure to identity struggles, emotional shutdown, or relationship strain. My focus is helping you regain traction, reconnect with your values, and move forward with purpose.

With five years of clinical experience, I integrate Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, EMDR, and Narrative Therapy into sessions that are practical, focused, and results-driven. Whether you're a high-achieving professional, a college student facing pressure, or a teen figuring out your place in the world—I meet you where you are with clarity, strategy, and genuine support.

Sessions are available in-person or online, depending on your preference.

My Approach

My work is centered on helping males build confidence, overcome internal blocks, and show up fully in life and relationships. I provide a space that is supportive, structured, and goal-oriented—designed for clients who are ready to create change, not just talk about it.

I also work with couples who are committed to strengthening their relationship—not those in the process of deciding whether to separate, but partners who want to do the work and reconnect.
