Mara B. Edmunds, MA, executive director, completed a clinical mental health counseling internship with MHMR of Tarrant County. She holds an associate’s degree in behavioral science, a bachelor’s degree in sociology, and a dual-track master’s degree in marriage & family therapy and professional counseling. Mara’s professional experience includes working with individuals, couples and families, and facilitating groups and classes for addiction recovery and survivors of trauma.
Mara is passionate about utilizing evidence-based interventions in helping individuals, couples, and families move past some of life's most complicated obstacles.
