Our Story

In 2020, as families began to become significantly impacted by the emerging worldwide pandemic, a shortage of mental health care professionals ensued. Hope Harbor opened its doors on October 1, 2020. Our simple beginning was a setup of one therapist in a 10x10 foot room with no windows, inside an old office building on Main Street in Keller, TX. This small start was only the beginning of something great. By the beginning of 2021, word got out in the community about Hope Harbor and the families whose lives were changing. Healing was happening and those in the community wanted to be a part of it. They longed to find something new and no longer walk alone. By mid year of 2021, additional staff were added to the Hope Harbor team. We began to run out of room, still all sharing two 10x10 foot rooms then.
Hope Harbor was growing rapidly to serve more families in our community. In the summer of 2021, we began construction on our current facility that took over a year to complete. By the end of the summer of 2022, we moved into our current location, serving families in our brand new facility in North Fort Worth/Alliance Area. We now have 8 team members on staff to serve you better! Our services include play therapy for 4-12 year olds along with career counseling for those who need support in finding their way professionally. We also continue to provide top-rated models of treatment for trauma, anxiety, and chronic stress, along with helping couples and families heal their relationships.
