Mara B. Edmunds, LMFT
Hello, I am Mara! Back when I was 18 years old, I put my belongings in 2 bags and took a solo 2 day train trip all the way across the country in an effort to escape a life that was not meant for me. Are you feeling like you are living a life not meant for you? Welcome! It’s nice to have you here. We won’t be taking any train trips…well, perhaps metaphorically we might consider an excursion or two.
Are you feeling overwhelmed and unsatisfied in your life? Do you often cry yourself to sleep or simply feel alone with no escape? I hear you and am so very glad our paths have crossed.
I have prepared a calm place of non-judgement for you where we can explore and process those painful areas where you are feeling stuck. My passion is treating complex trauma. We will work together using evidence-based techniques to alleviate your anxiety, flashbacks, avoidance, insomnia, and hypervigilance, along with the tension in your relationships. I have had a front row seat to major life transformations and cannot wait to see yours!
Call me so we can begin your journey of healing. You are more than worth it and I look forward to hearing from you!

“I'm back in school now and haven't relapsed since we finished meeting. I'm now fighting for myself instead of against myself. I met the most amazing girl and we are doing great.”
