Allison Liu
Virtual Practice Administrator
Allison is the Practice Administrator and Public Relations Manager at Hope Harbor. She has a heart for cultivating a safe and welcoming environment for those who walk through Hope Harbor’s doors and is an enthusiastic advocate for our clients and their families.
Allison’s work experience includes the roles of Community Engagement Coordinator for a multidisciplinary pediatric therapy office and administrator for a startup providing virtual therapy sessions for children and teens. As a Public Relations Specialist, Allison has extensive experience working in development and publicity for various nonprofits. In fact, Allison founded a non-profit of her own during the onset of the pandemic, providing fully-funded therapeutic music education to children that reached ten different countries in less than a year! It was during this time that she gained experience collaborating with many entities including representatives from Harvard University, the United Nations, and various US Embassies abroad. She fully believes in people and that we are better together!
Allison spends her free time playing piano, cuddling with her cat, Piper, and volunteering at an equine therapy center. She currently studies social work at Simmons University in the evenings and is on track to one day become a licensed clinical social worker. She is also a talented musician and even plays flute for Michelle Obama’s Waffles and Mochi show on Netflix.
Allison looks forward to hearing from you and compassionately assisting you on your path to healing!
