“I'm back in school now and haven't relapsed since we finished meeting. I'm now fighting for myself instead of against myself. I met the most amazing girl and we are doing great.”

Ann is a Licensed Professional Counselor and she holds a bachelors degree in psychology, a dual-track masters degree in professional counseling and marriage & family therapy, and is licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors. After working in the corporate world for many years, she decided to follow her dream of helping others as a counselor.

Ann is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and specializes in helping people heal from trauma. Traumatic situations can sometimes get stuck in the brain causing people to believe irrational and/or incorrect things about themselves, their lives, and those around them. This can cause many different issues which may include anger, depression, anxiety, or addictive tendencies. Ann believes everyone, no matter where they are in life, is capable of healing and deserves to live their best life!

She and her husband have two adult daughters, a three-legged rescue pit bull named Henry, and a cat named Zoe. When Ann is not working with her clients, she enjoys volunteering, being active in her church, spending time with her family and friends, and fostering dogs and cats that need forever homes.

Ann’s desire is to meet you where you are and walk alongside you to help you meet your goals.  She welcomes people from all walks of life!
